Various types of fibres allow the reduction of by autogenous shrinkage a factor of 1.2-1.8 and drying shrinkage by a factor of 1.3-1.8. Incorporation of fibres leads to only a slight increase in the compressive strength of foamed concrete; however, it can significantly improve the flexural strength (up to 4 times), tensile strength (up to 3 times) and impact strength (up to 6 times). At the same time, the addition of fibres leads to practically no change in the heat and sound insulation characteristics of foamed concrete and this is basically depended on the type of fibres used such as Nylon and aramid fibres. Thus, FRFC having the presented set of properties has applications in various areas of construction, both in the construction of load-bearing and enclosing structures. The article presents the potential impact of flat drive and transport belts on people's safety during a fire. The analysis distinguished belts made of classically used fabric-rubber composite materials reinforced with cord and currently used multilayer polymer composites. Moreover, the products' multilayers during the thermal decomposition and combustion can be a source of emissions for unpredictable and toxic substances with different concentrations and compositions. In the evaluation of the compared belts, a testing methodology was used to determine the toxicometric indicators (WLC50SM) on the basis of which it was possible to determine the toxicity of thermal decomposition and combustion products in agreement with the standards in force in several countries of the EU and Russia. The analysis was carried out on the basis of the registration of emissions of chemical compounds during the thermal decomposition and combustion of polymer materials at three different temperatures. Moreover, the degradation kinetics of the polymeric belts by using the thermogravimetric (TGA) technique was evaluated. Test results have shown that products of thermal decomposition resulting from the neoprene (NE22), leder leder (LL2), thermoplastic connection (TC), and extra high top cower (XH) belts can be characterized as moderately toxic or toxic. Their toxicity significantly increases with the increasing temperature of thermal decomposition or combustion, especially above 450 °C. The results showed that the belts made of several layers of polyamide can be considered the least toxic in fire conditions. The TGA results showed that NBR/PA/PA/NBR belt made with two layers of polyamide and the acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber has the highest thermal stability in comparison to other belts.Hepatocyte Nuclear Factor 4 (HNF4) is a transcription factor (TF) belonging to the nuclear receptor family whose expression and activities are restricted to a limited number of organs including the liver and gastrointestinal tract. In this review, we present robust evidence pointing to HNF4 as a master regulator of cellular differentiation during development and a safekeeper of acquired cell identity in adult organs. Importantly, we discuss that transient loss of HNF4 may represent a protective mechanism upon acute organ injury, while prolonged impairment of HNF4 activities could contribute to organ dysfunction. In this context, we describe in detail mechanisms involved in the pathophysiological control of cell identity by HNF4, including how HNF4 works as part of cell-specific TF networks and how its expression/activities are disrupted in injured organs.Mitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatase-5 (MKP-5) is a regulator of extracellular signaling that is known to regulate lipid metabolism. In this study, we found that obesity caused by a high-fat diet (HFD) decreased the expression of MKP-5 in the pancreas and primary islet cells derived from mice. Then, we further investigated the role of MKP-5 in the protection of islet cells from lipotoxicity by modulating MKP-5 expression. As a critical inducer of lipotoxicity, palmitic acid (PA) was used to treat islet β-cells. We found that MKP-5 overexpression restored PA-mediated autophagy inhibition in Rin-m5f cells and protected these cells from PA-induced apoptosis and dysfunction. Consistently, a lack of MKP-5 aggravated the adverse effects of lipotoxicity. Islet cells from HFD-fed mice were infected using recombinant adenovirus expressing MKP-5 (Ad-MKP-5), and we found that Ad-MKP-5 was able to alleviate HFD-induced apoptotic protein activation and relieve the HFD-mediated inhibition of functional proteins. Notably, HFD-mediated impairments in autophagic flux were restored by Ad-MKP-5 transduction. Furthermore, the autophagy inhibitor 3-methyladenine (3-MA) was used to treat Rin-m5f cells, confirming that the MKP-5 overexpression suppressed apoptosis, dysfunction, inflammatory response, and oxidative stress induced by PA via improving autophagic signaling. Lastly, employing c-Jun amino-terminal kinas (JNK), P38, or extracellular-regulated kinase (ERK) inhibitors, we established that the JNK and P38 MAPK pathways were involved in the MKP-5-mediated apoptosis, dysfunction, and autophagic inhibition observed in islet β cells in response to lipotoxicity.Internet gaming disorder (IGD) has been recognized by the American Psychiatric Association (APA) as a tentative disorder in the latest (fifth) revision of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5). However, psychometric evaluation of the nine IGD criteria remains necessary to further enhance its assessment. Therefore, the objective of this study was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Spanish version of the Internet Gaming Disorder Scale-Short Form (IGDS9-SF). The internal structure, internal consistency, temporal stability, and relationships with other variables were assessed. Furthermore, a polytomous item response theory (IRT) approach was used to evaluate the performance of each item and the test as a whole. A sample of 388 online gamers (53.61% women, mean age 25.45 years, standard deviation (SD) = 9.62) was recruited for this study. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/gdc-0068.html Similar to previous research, the results supported a one-factor structure for the IGDS9-SF, adequate internal consistency and temporal stability of scores, goodness of fit of the items to the graded response model (GRM), and more precise scores at high trait levels to assess IGD in Spanish populations.
